Our Mission

Since 1996, Tri-County Animal Rescue has rescued over 98,000 animals from euthanasia, neglect, abandonment, and abuse. Our shelter is a safe haven, caring for animals every day of the year, and committed to providing love, rehabilitation, and second chances.
In 2019, we expanded our mission by launching the Lois Pope Pet Clinic, providing low-cost—and often pro bono—veterinary care for community pets in need. This clinic has become a critical lifeline for families facing financial hardship and pets in urgent need of surgery or medical attention.
Our vision is simple and unwavering:
To give every animal the chance to live a happy, healthy, and loved life—regardless of age, breed, or circumstance.
